It’s still “all systems go” here at Jordans and, as well as working hard to put in place the new processes required for the final implementation of the Companies Act 2006 on 1 October, we’ve also, over the last two months, held a Jordans’ “Companies Act road show” in various locations around the UK.
The road show consisted of ten Companies Act seminars for professional advisers and company directors where we aimed to highlight the most significant changes being introduced under the Act and suggest some practical solutions for meeting the new rules that are going to affect the way all companies do business in the future.
As with any new legislation there are good and bad consequences and during a series of question and answer sessions many of our delegates voiced their concerns over various parts of the new legislation. From these questions and the insights we have gained whilst working on our own implementation we have put together a series of informative articles in our latest Corporate Focus.
